  1. IGNs opinion on sword and shield is fuckin stupid, that game was both bad and WAY too easy
Yeah I know it's a kids game and at least have some level of difficulty, like I had lvl 100s earlier than I should've

  2. While constantly comparing SMT 5 to Persona is a bad move, the criticisms of the story aren't totally incorrect though, even other SMT fans found it lacking.

  3. My friend group adopted calling someone a "gaming journalist" as our version of "skill issue" or similar phrases
This started after the infamous cup head incident

  4. I want to give the benefit of doubt to IGN and say they meant too much DOOM in DOOM meant it was trying too hard to be classic doom without much innovation mixed. But at the same time, it's literally what people wanted regardless.

  5. The Doom games are so freakin awesome! They make me feel like a badass in ways no game has ever done before!

I would literally shit talk the demons as I played alone in my room 😂 Like what is that if not a great gaming experience??

  6. Hold on, Black Ops 3 was pretty fun. I'm cool with that one netting a 9.2.

Granted, it's the only CoD game whose multiplayer I've actually delved into, but it was fun!

Also, I think one of their most infamous reviews was God Hand, which originally netted a 2 or 3 out of 10. Apparently the backlash was so bad that they had to put out a response saying "No one in the office likes this game, it's just awful." Now, I haven't had the chance to play it myself since it's stuck in PS3 Hell, but just the footage I've seen shows of some the sickest and complex combat mechanics I've seen in a video game. Despite looking like an early PS2 game and having some… very dated humor, it was really cool, and the fact that the IGN review was what potentially led to it doing as poorly as it did is a crying shame.

  7. My god, the fallout for that SMT V "review" was a sight to behold. And the way the people behind the review addressed the backlash didn't make it better.

  8. IGN will never live down their "too much water" as a negative. But let's not forget their Double Dragon: Neon review. Yeah, let's give a game to someone who went on record saying they hate those kinds of games to review it objectively. Surly they will keep an open mind and give it a fair shake.

  9. Ok the only reason i enjoyed black ops 3 was because of the zombies mode otherwise felt like the same thing with the campaign and multiplayer now doom 2016 a true return to form and adding new things to modernize it was a great experience and also I feel like a composer when using all the weapons available to me to create a beautiful song of death

  10. The only annoying thing about water routes in ruby and Sapphire is encounter tentacool and winguls (and their evolutions) all the time, it drives you mad sometimes
