1. Having just beaten the game, this review is 100% accurate. What an underwhelming disappointment of a game.

2. I personally disagree with all the negative opinions so far! The game has been a blast & I personally can’t wait to see how the story unfolds! Plenty of gore and jump-scares

3. I don’t know what your smoking… but CALLISTO PROTOCOL is amazing !!!!! A good game doesn’t have to be open world, or have a multiplayer component. This is a linear, story driven game – and it’s done well … extremely well.

4. the production also feels a little bit rushed… Many times during the cutscenes you get this felling that they could have told more, done more…. Also during gameplay you see many instances where the polish wasnt good: stutering corpses, half finished scenarious, to much reused assets even in placed they wouldnt make scence and zero exploration in the levels, i think even dead space made you explore more….

5. The immersion and the detail graphically are amazing, the frustration of the combat can be really aggravating, but over all it’s a decent game. I paid 90$ on pre order because I thought the game was going to be insanely good. Save your money. Wait for it to go on sale..

6. Been playing this and it's better than 5. Unfortunately on PC it's still need a bit tweaking but will come with future patch. Graphics is amazing and story is good. Short but enough.

7. That moment around 8:30 right after he says "not especially fun" had me thinking "oh? Would be nice if you could back that up with a clip."

   Sure enough the next 30 seconds are some of the most visually incoherent nonsense I've seen in a while. I'll find something else to play at Christmas I guess.

9. I personally totally agree. This game doesn't deserve more than a 5, I finished it just now and overall it's a decent mediocre game. Just because it's a game you were looking forward to doesn't make it good. Learn to accept disappointment

10. As a lot of people disagree with the ratings that have been thrown around about the game, I think this is one of those titles you will just have to try yourself. To help give some more perspective however, I will say if you enjoyed dead space, you may like this, of course depending on what it is about the DS series that made you enjoy it. Callisto protocol is a good twist on it with more focus on melee combat as mentioned in the review. I still think Deadspace was far scarier than this game, there is still tense moments but it’s not on the same level in my opinion. Don’t let the bad reviews scare you away! It’s not a perfect game but it’s very entertaining, I give it a solid 7.5-8/10. For context I loved all the Deadspace games so maybe I’m a bit biased but I’d give those titles 9-9.5/10.

11. I'm really enjoying this game and giving it a 5 out of 10 is very unfair yes the compat has a learning curve but so do a lot of games, this game has a great atmosphere and is definitely more of a survival horror than other so called horror games that are more like FPS shooter

12. Yea its definitely better then 5. I beat it last night. I loved it. The gore, the brutality, the graphics, the story were awesome. Only flaws wish dodge was b button and longer. Beat it in 7 hours but I played on easy, and recycled mini boss, but overall loved it playing it again. 8.5 out of 10

15. It sounds like Dead space 2 where they ruined it by having enemies attack too often, in dead space 1 there was more tension & control. I think these games are better with less swarms or intense battles. Fast paced action does get tedious & spoils Sci fi horror space tension. Maybe they could fix that on a sequel

23. i want to try this game but all the critics say it's bad the performance is a big problem on pc but I like horror games that turn into action games, resident evil 6, 8, and other games like those are awesome. if anyone has played it and sees this could you lmk if approaching it from a non horror perspective make it more interesting. i'm cool with it not being scared being a viscera fest where i beat zombies with a baseball bat in interesting arena combat sounds like a game i'd love.

26. It is a great game I don't regret buying it at all. Be careful not to let reviews take that from you, these days they think a lot of games don't meet the standards of what a game should be.

27. Sorry but i stopped checking reviews on game site cauze its lot of time personall preferences, especially gamestop and IGN. I trust only STEAM reviews but not on day one but at least 1-2 months after game was released. Gamespot gave ALIEN isolation 6, steam revievers gave 92 % over 35.000 reviewers and that game was one of the best for me.

28. Hmm. Doesn't really remind me of Dead Space as much as Condemned. Which I hated.

29. Game is a solid 8/10. Could be better but it’s still worth every penny. Looking forward to the riot mode and story dlc.

30. I have to disagree with this review, I really feel like you should play the game to see if you like it. I honestly think the game has a niche and a solid foundation like Dead Space. Like Souls games, combat and difficulty may not be for everyone but once it clicks the game is really good in and unlike the Souls games you even have difficulty options. Aside from the technical issues on PC the game's been pretty solid on PS5. I'd recommend giving it a chance.

32. I don’t know, I’ve played about 3 hours and I’m having a blast. I can understand it if a game loses steam in the later half, but I just cannot see this game being a 5/10 unless it get DRAMATICALLY worse. I’d rate the first 3 hours a 9/10 for me personally.

35. I was so excited for this game but all the reviews have unfortunately turned me off. Maybe in like 3 years when it’s on sale will I buy at this point. Womp womp. I’ll just wait for Dead Space remake next month.
