Wich cord do you use does phone chargers work? (for the protection on to the screen
Good job bro you are a master at fixing !!!
how recharge the phone when connect to display??? i dont see some dock to phone to have two ports usb c one to charge and other connect to display
with the price of materials you might wanna just buy a Nex Dock instead, but a very cool idea if you're handy like this guy is
5/10 couldve been done better
It would be awesome to make this from a old laptop because that would be more compact and cleaner looking
I'd love to take the smartphone motherboard using it's display ribbon and use a laptop touchscreen to make a tablet, is this even possible?
Lol

This whole thing becomes irrelevant when you realize that nexdock has made a version that is much thinner, and has a touchscreen.
Wena gringo mode on
Bro that could be so much thinner
Any laptop other than Windows, Linux or Apple OS is as useless as your broken phone because you can't use apps meant to run on laptops and desktops.
Usieei
just change the display & touch combo

it will be work fine
I just took a peek and unfortunately this would cost more then a laptop with better specs.
if you spent some time flashing the bios and emmc, you can actually run windows on this rudimentary laptop
so no broken phones were used in the video. wtf. lies!!!!!!
Slap Godot onto it and you're developing games
Hello great man, you showed me how to use old lappis. Actually I fix them. But I'm interested in your twenty twenty info board in minute 1.48. Where can you get that and how many pins are on the ribbon for contact with the display.
All the best and thank you.

3:26 Doesn't masking tape leave residue on the screen?
7:24 Why would you risk a fire/shock with that round socket instead of just having the usbA end of a charging cable (usbC being connected to the battery) stick out and be pluggable into an extender/charger?
If the phone has USB 2 and USB 2 OTG and the screen is so damaged it's illegible (can't log it or see if it's logged in, change any settings, etc), can one still connect it to a screen and control it from there? Thx for a good video.
what is better about this build is that it is cheaper than any chrome book i think……. right?
Does anyone know where a similar control board possibly with an HDMI instead of a 30p connector can be found cause I would like to make a docking station similar to a switch, but with a fan and other goodies
Broo

Please make a video on how to make a touch pad using old mobile touch
Looks soo cool
hats off to you man, you are giving out billion dollars business idea just for free
Good work but you can buy cheap chrome book
please how much
Amazing, man!
Hi. Thanks so much for sharing your skills and ideas with us! I have an old smartphone- a Samsung J3 Emerge, and I'd like to get rid of the factory apps on it (clear the useless apps) to have room for photos & videos. There is no uninstall option when I look at the app info, only an option to disable. How do I get those apps off? Thanks!
it's not smashed
