2023 Cadillac Lyriq Might be Underrated!

I am very impressed with Cadillac’s first EV. Shot on iPhone 14 Pro 2023 Cadillac Lyric: https://geni.us/5v2BBk.

  1. I wonder why none of the auto manufacturers have came up with a system to blend regenerative braking with normal braking. It would be much more natural than having a separate switch on the wheel to hit. There must be some kind of safety guidelines that say they can't change a normal braking system that much…?

  2. I’ve been holding out for an electric Macan (since I’ve been very happy with my Porsche ownership experience so far) and I’ll never buy a Tesla but thisâ€ĻI could go for this.

  3. Not a bad first attempt at cross over EV. But it seems to be aimed at a specific audience. One that likes luxury interiors vs sporty feel. I think it lacks the storage of other EVs. I also think the speakers in head rest and front grill lights are excessive. It feels like it’s made for the Hip Hop crowd. I think if GM made the back more space, better visibility. Remove the speakers in the head rest and grill lights on next years version. I would say that EV will be a very good Tesla alternative. As far as charge networks. That can be changed as more fast EV charge networks are made which will help every EV that is not a Tesla.

  4. I have a Model Y Performance and I prefer the styling of the Lyriq. However, the sport look fits my MYP perfectly and the performance is insane for a SUV. With the lack of a front trunk and the software quirks I think I'll stay with Tesla for our family

  5. I’ve been saying this since other car makers began getting into the EV market space, even though Tesla still reigns supreme in battery tech and performance, all these other cars beat them in just about everything else, the Lyriq has been probably one of the most surprisingly best EVs brought out imo, even Chevy with their Blazer looks really good

  6. People need to learn to adjust their mirrors to actually cover their blind spots. You don't need to crane your neck over your shoulder if you know how to position your mirrors.
