  1. 2 years later, I think Latercase's look better and they cover way more phones than Pitaka. Maybe there was some copying and shady business going on, but they're very nice cases that cover way more than just Apple and 2 Samsung phones

  8. Guys no you're not thinking like Lew, he means first in the market because pitaka puts a magnet in theirs and he doesn't. The apple school of thought! Take away a feature and call it innovation.

  18. I would love to see and hear about business, creating merch, marketing, and you guys creating your content so you all can make a living doing what you do an have fun doing it! That would be really helpful to us trying to get started and make a name for our selfs.

  19. You guys are totally off base on this. The issue is in the way he made the claim which remains active in marketing today. What he did by his own admission was basically to have the Pitaka case made for a phone model they didn’t make a case for at the time. At the same time, his comments clearly imply that the TYPE or style of case didn’t exist so he made one. He didn’t say “available for more phones than any other manufacturer” or anything like that. It doesn’t even seem like he made the differences he did out of a desire to have it that way but because he needed to make it look a bit different (the new ones with camera cover are different). The issue with the videos only underscores the underhanded intent, and that the issues weren’t unnecessary. Now, given the disgraceful nature of China’s pillaging of intellectual property, it’s about time someone shows it goes both ways. But it was clearly an intentional ripoff using tactics that reinforce the idea.

  21. What’s the difference of selling a hoodie that aliexpress makes for a huge mark up or selling a PC case with huge mark up .. it’s called business and this channel is doing the same exact thing with shirts , hats , water bottles etc ..

  27. Wow, it's funny to see how back then it was just normal to go to work sick and sit less than a foot apart from coworkers. Also in hindsight we know that Covid was already a thing in December of 2019. That paints him being sick in a whole different light xD

  35. Everything I've seen on Unbox Therapy has been sketchy as hell, even before Thunderf00t debunked him. How about that iPhone giveaway controversy? Dude is skeezy and I don't trust a word he says.

  40. 13:08 is so far the only wrong information, funny when he used it as an example as he deosent know about it so how close to making it can be. Think we can let this one slide tho 😂
