The reason why people use chillout VR is that creatives have more control over what they can put into an avatar or a world, it has a better security than VRChat, and the dev team is a lot more responsive that Vrchat's dev team (I'm not gonna factor mods into this as it is a per person view). Performance wise Chillout just obliterates Vrchat (uncapped chillout is less performance intensive than capped VRChat), and since the community is smaller it's mostly constituted of Nice people
