They look really nice. Shame they didn't put more thought into the 3rd party accessories.
As soon as the PC Link cable was mentioned, it was a big no from me!
Actually mine is better

and for $99? i’m good. too many compromises i swore i wouldn’t do again
Are they directional like index speakers? (The index speakers have less sound leaking because they are directional speakers.)
I don't see productivity. Sorry this device better skip.
Thanks for your review. However I didnt hear anything on weight distribution and comfort (as 180 grams is pretty significant). Also I only have the Eilte strap so this also adds to this, plus its draining the battery (so how much power is consumed on average play sessions)? Thanks again!
Oh, BTW, have fun at gamescom. Make sure to order an Alt beer in Cologne like a gigachad
As a content creator and someone that needs clean audio through my mic, this product isn't the one, but it looks good for anyone that only plays solo and doesn't utilise the mic much. I think an 'on ear' design like the OG quest would have been better for most people.
So many things are a huge miss here when you can get Bionik Mantis for half the price of these and they fit with several headstraps including the BoboVR M2.
considering that you can't play PCVR AND it doesn't work on better headstraps, that is a huge deal breaker and a hard no from me chief
Super bummed about this. Very close to being good but the lack of compatibility and no link cable support just cuts it's market down so much
Nice, thought they were expensive and limited to the crappy Oculus headstraps, a big NO for me with my way better but not compatible headstrap
I really don't see the point. I think the Quest 2 sounds great out of the box. Something like that would be a lot more beneficial to the Rift S, but of course, nobody cares about the Rift S anymore.
3 mins in and it is odiously a big pile of poo poo unless you kept the rubbish Oculus strap or bought the VERY expensive official upgrade strap. BoboVr straps are great so i left at 3 mins, sorry Mike.
Bruh- All they had to do was use the 3.5mm jack and have some clamps. So stupid.
damn, they really missed an opportunity there all reviews agree on the great sound which I would love to have, but not having it be compatible with other straps and not being able to charge at the same time as using the headphones and thus hindering the purpose of all battery straps are so big deal breakers that so many people who would have been in the market for a better audio solution will hold off of a purchase of these things
hope someone designs a 3d printable mounting kit
Iunno man, I'm very used to the Rift S's speakers despite being called absolutely horrendous by every single VR user in existence and it sounds good enough to me, i don't think audio will ever be a criteria for me when looking into VR
For those looking for an alternative, I bought a pair of quest 2 headphones from engineeredAF. They recreate the ones on the original right, and work great! I can highly recommend them
