Can you do a BTS for these concept videos? Like what sparked this idea for the video, when did it happen, if there's a story behind it. If not BTS video, then at lease a story or a long form post somewhere telling us all this. I find it fascinating to find out where the ideas came from. And I believe I am not alone in this
Vertical videos for capturing a single person is better than landscape. It just always made sense.
Did any saw 69 in the thumbnail
I'm surprised it wasn't mentioned, but Microsoft Zune was ahead of its time too. The Zune Pass idea was pioneered where you can listen to all the music you want for a monthly cost. The Zune walked so Spotify and Apple Music could run.
Project linda too
I miss Vine…a lot
Did Vine die or was it killed? An important distinction!
You know my dad worked with Google for a couple vids and he bought the Google glasses I never tried them but they were really cool because they had a hologram
Interesting episode… a few facts – EV1 was killed by chevrolet ( possible due to oil cartel as theory suggets) they even bought back the cars forcefully and crushed them. Barely a few that were hidden survive. And like atrix there was microsoft continuum which was much more evolved and user friendly and definitely fast. Sadly microsoft killed the lumia lineup and so did the continuum .
Controversial but the psvita was ahead of its time… Oled touch screen years before the switch
Everyone Knows what Happened With MetaVerse When Teenagers started Using Them
Hope The same Wont Be repeated With These Smart Glasses
I remember Razer had a mock up of their phone sliding into the spot for the mousepad and running a laptop. Always bummed that never came around
I must say. It’s truly comical that Facebook specifically partnered with Ray Ban IYKYK
Really confused why you didn't talk about dex more on the last topic.. i can and have been able to plug my phone into whatever screen or computer with a usbc cable and have it become a full computer. I don't need an "ecosystem", just one phone Seems you were specifically targeting apple to make one? Or maybe you haven't used dex before?
This comment is not about this video, but i relized that whenever the video is about apple the title sugesting something possitive like "better than you think" or " so much power" and when the video is about Samsung the title is always about something negative like "1 mistake" or "wierd price" . Are you influenced by apple, that they let you come to their HQ and film there? Im just curious, im sure i would do the same for exchange to be invited to apple.. Its just wierd to me, if you click on you ytb page and click on videos and just looking for titles and the pictures you can see it yourself.
I didn’t get the chance to have the Samsung Galaxy S camera but i think that it takes a good photos but the phone display that you show the picture from is really bad so you think that the photos is bad.
I think Razer did have a concept similar to Motorola Atria. You would slot your phone into the trackpad area (not behind the display like Atria) so you phone doubled up as a trackpad.
PALM PRE
I want more videos like this of old tech brought up how it’s being redone and popularized. Please do more this was awesome!
Y’all remember “Project Ara”? The idea of a Modular smartphone.
I actually loved vine and I was so hypeeeed about the google glass and all the cool tech at the time when innovation was something they really cared about….
Now it's just about how small can they make the phones and now the box
From the original Google Glass video to this you grew exponentially
I am so glad you mentioned that Samsung camera, I worked at an electronics store when it came out and I was like "wow this thing is amazing" but like you said it flopped. With the camera power, they have now a days if they made one dedicated to it it could be a super impressive device, but then at that point like why not just get a cellphone. I feel like it's right there, hopefully, someone will take a stab at it.
Is that that Pixle his daily driver right now???
I still remember when you posted the original review for the google glass years ago (back in 2014?). Really cool to see how you’ve come since then. Wow, time goes REALLY fast.
They got rid of Vine because it was too good. Life was sweet when Vine was a thing. Now everyone’s just a bandwagon creator unfortunately.
Vine was great
RAZR Project Linda was the best designed version of the phone-as-laptop idea. Really wish other companies went for that design.
Early! Great video!
Project Ara was ahead of its time wish that idea came back
Winning eleven was ahead of its time
on that Samsung Galaxy Camera phone, my mom bought the SG S4 Zoom, which was probably the successor of the Camera line,
In your last review of google glasses years ago you discussed how they were kinda useless and I had the same feeling of these being underrated you have now..anyways great video
You have some much knowledge
I wanted google glass so bad. Still do and would totally rock them 24/7. I think they were excellent and I like the design. Still better then the snap chat and FB glasses.
I had my moto Atrix and sure it was ahead of its time and was really good phone with addons
I wanted the google glass so bad but it was quickly banded in my country, you can't bring it inside
Damn you nailed it
I love your video
