I panic sold my UST at about 0.6% loss and was shocked to see UST at 80 cents. There was a story of IRON finance which had the same system, a USD pegged stable coin and a fluctuating token called Titan. The assumptions were the same as those used by Luna. Their system broke down and eventually failed because of intense volatility, the oracle pricing information couldn't keep up with the fluctuations. Hopefully the same doesn't happen to Luna.
