I love how you overcame the full screen limitations of the Quest 2 without sacrificing quality. Your 3 window technique leaves room for your face cam and the game box art so non English speakers will always know what your playing. It's a great way to not have to jailbreak your Quest 2 before each recording and I think it's absolutely brilliant I hope you see this. Game on good Sir
Just checked the new games on Q2 and not seeing this game?
Are the movements smoother this time around ? In the first game the planes movements felt to exact if that makes sense.
Is this game out? I tired looking for it in the quest last night
how long is this game?
Just got it and it is great! I am pretty good at Ww1 War Planes and that helps a lot
Why isnt this on the oculus app?
I hate that they teleport you after you take off. This game could have been so epic if it were a mil sim. Disappointed theres so much hand holding.
I dont understand how this game looks and plays so well on the quest. These map are massive
you can walk in the first, switch seats in bombers, and have 2 planes in a battle.
if homenetgames are turning some of their games to vr im guessing space commander will come to vr the same as warplanes ww1 and ww2
this game was actually just a mobile game i didnt know it will advance to vr and pc aswell great job for the devs that worked on this
This is going in my wishlist ASAP! I loved Aces of the Pacific back in the 90s so this is a no brainer. WWI Fighters is awesome so this should be too.
The original also lets you walk around the planes.
Hope they keep the Warplane series like this, simple and lots of fun. Hotas works fine (T.Flight Hotas X), both games and modes (PCVR and standalone)
WooHoo!!!! Just made enough points to purchase the F4U!!! Thanx for the vid!!! I have over 100 hours in the WWI version. Warplanes is an extremely fun to play flight sim. For the best WWI flight sim is IL-2 Flying Circus in VR. I have over 100 hours in that too. The Warplanes series is just too fun not to have. & you can use your hand controllers & sit comfortably any way you like. Thanx for the vid again.
This makes me want the original Battlefield 1942, Battlefield Vietnam or Battlefield 2 on native Quest2
Wasn't happy when I saw it was a Quest 2 game… Then I checked on Steam!… It's also PCVR Now I just hope it has support for HOTAS
Awesome video, Beardo! I love the WWI Warplanes, I'll have to give this a try.
Cannot wait to play this………..
Cannot wait to play this………..
I wish I could play Warplanes but it gives me horrific motion sickness. Somehow Ultrawings 2 does not, so strange!
Subscribed on the strength of the BOOP alone!! lololololol Great video, look forward to future content. BOOP!! LMAO!!
I just saw on another video that you can take a USB to USB-C adaptor and connect a HOTAS straight into your quest 2… Now I've got to try this.
Great video, thanks for showing off this game. didn't know it was coming. . Loved the first game and loving this one. I like that they unlinked multiplayer from single player progression and players are on an even playing field with plans and gear in multiplayer,
Hey BB,
I just discovered your channel and REALLY enjoy your content! I love how enthusiastic you are about VR! It makes me really curious about the whole technology.
I've never experienced VR gaming and I'm getting a bit hyped about it.
Which commercial VR headset do you think is the best one to buy right now?
Can’t wait for a starwars Rogue squadron type game
Very cool. Excited to see how this dev keeps going. Clearly they like to make flight games, the improvements from the first to the second are pretty big, wonder if they might tackle jets next.. Like the Korean war or something.. Mig 15 vs F-86Sabre in Mig Alley, that would hit the spot. Still not technologically advanced yet to be hard to understand, but extremely fast and cool.
Somebody dizzying with this?
You might want to put the link to get the game for Quest 2 in the description: https://www.oculus.com/experiences/quest/3922378427824210/
What's your pilot name?
