Why you did not address game publishers for compatibility. Shouldn't be as hard as targetting a console. Instead you claimed twice that games don't run because of steamos limitations. Please think again. What could a system as steamOS offer more then getting as close to devs as posssible and minimize their efforts on a port? Actually it's not even a port , it's A PATCH for them.
Not mentioning the threatening behavior of bungie, the nasty message of gog (Just install Windows) and Tim Sweeny with his fortnite-decline for steamos leaves a slight bad touch. You, as press, could help very much for getting compatibility-patches rather sooner then later.

Epic games can be played on Linux with one of the community launcher. Lutris or Heroic or whatnot. No reason to use Windows for those.
So just to be clear this is a handheld for pc gamers, not a handheld for console gamers. Correct?

Nintendo Switch is the only way to go.

Great Review. But you kinda forgot the emulator aspect. You can play Nintendo Switch, Wii U, PS1/2/3 and Xbox games on it too.

Steam Deck may not be perfect but it sure damm is better than the Nintendo Switch and anything other handheld that's currently available on the market.
