His analysis was very revealing "Oh you plan new smash; dont you know melle is better", or "oh you still play melle, your stuck in the past"… Notice 'stuck in the past' has nothing at-all todo with a games quality…. Melle forever baby!
Armada is by far one of the smartest esports players ever.
Move your mouth interviewer.
This interviewer is horrible, no enthusiasm
This guy doesn’t interview people well
Kinda random but any of you car guys that know Koenigsegg think Armada is like Christen? Every time I see them do interviews they talk very similarly and are follow similar principles in their work. Great minds think a like, and let’s face it Adams probably gonna go bald like Christen by his age lol
this interviewer sucks absolute balls
60fps interview PogChamp
It's cool and all that ESPN is covering eSports, let alone melee in particular, but I'm not subscribing to a channel that uploads 10+ videos a day which are completely irrelevant to the content I'm interested in. Unless you happen to also follow a mainstream sport, subscribing to espn for melee content makes no sense. Especially considering that every top player has their own channel where they will be talking about the same topics unmitigated by censors and politics.
Make an Esports specific channel.
Armada is forced into a corner and in a round about way says what Plup could of done as if Armada has any idea what was going on with Plup outside the game. Still, I blame the interviewer.
The BOAT
Some people prefer interviews like this but I find the transition between Armada's answer and the next question very awkward. I think theres a way to be both professional but also a bit more engaging.
why are they covering a children's party game
5:17 is beautiful
melee on espn pussy boys wemade it
watching armada on quarter speed
The GOAT
Is it just me or is 4:30 really awkward
When Armada is alone, does he think in Swedish or English?
Unpopular opinion: The interviewer is emotionless and dry.
This was a good interview, for me at least. It must be odd being interviewed by someone who is not known inside the melee scene. If I was Adam I would have been super skeptic when asked specific questions about the game, match ups, etc. He did great though. Not only a great melee player but also a great interviewee.
Let's go Melee!! Nearly 17 years and still going. Keep it up!! This is an amazing game and an equally amazing community. Love
Thought these interviews would be on ESPN 8: The ocho.
Armada stays dropping knowledge
that losers run was fucking , well, 'God'like , great run
Just like to take a little time to say, fuck Trump!
The previous under 6
I just wanna say thank you to ESPN for allowing Smash to be a topic within their community for the past couple years. I remember I use to watch Sportcenter all the time as a child and loved seeing how good the athletes were. When I heard that ESPN was showing interest in this game it made me really excited and I think it's awesome that it's getting the attention it deserves <3
20XX > Bayo
Soon this guy will work in his grandpa's and Dad's pawnshop with his bestfriend. Lmao
armada u are beautiful i love you
Eventhough Armada is not my favorite player to watch, I must admit he is one of the wisest players in history of the FGC <3
why is it that everytime they talk about melee evo winners, they just ignore Ken
yeah it was a different era, and he is not "good" anymore, but he did win.
I am not even a Ken fan or was around back then, I just notice it a lot lately in interviews
the problem with this interviewer is not his demeanor or awkwardness it's that he clearly has preplanned questions and asks them no matter how the interview has been going or what the interviewee has just said, totally disrupts the flow of the convo and sometimes he asks questions that basically have already been answered beforehand because that's what he's prepped
I love Armada, him being in the scene makes everything much more hype. True and only final boss of this game.
The GOAT
lol this Jacob guy makes everything seem so somber to me; like he's interviewing someone after something like 9/11 happened lmao
This interviewer has to work on his diction and expression. It feels awkward.
Armada is the best spokesperson for Melee. He’s professional, humble, thoughtful, and extremely down to earth.
Leffen winning was definitely amazing and he deserves all the attention he's getting, but let's not forget about Armada's run. He's never been knocked into loser's so early before, and he really ground it out. The man has grit.
I love armada so much such a down to earth guy
