3. AMOLED technology means that black backgrounds will help you improve battery life TREMENDOUSLY. Not sure why it's defaulted to white backgrounds throughout the menu system. I hope there's a way to change the background color. You will see 20-30% battery life increase if you switch to a black background.

7. yeah i noticed the wedge and I thought I was crazy because no one was mentioning anything about it until you just did. I think the device is interesting but there are so many more android devices to choose from with similar specs that are much cheaper.

12. Can you give some boundaries to the battery life, like screen on time? Lacking a bit when you say it doesn't get you through the day, but if you've had the screen on for 5 hours, then thats good for me

18. Looks nice and simple and Spartan, but no SD slot, so not so good.Expensive too. Thank you for a very fair summing up. Need new phone. One to ponder.

19. If you're going to ripoff the iPhone, then do so all the way and ripoff the home button with the finger print scanner built in. I've used all the various finger print scanners and none work as well or as naturally as the iPhone take on it.

    Iphone 7 doesnt have oled screen, very bad battery life. just paying 800$ for the name.
    Pixel has good display, speed is good, nouget 7.1 is smooth almost like ios and camera better than iphone 7, keep no doubt abt it.

    looks like tech radar is favoring iphone. I have seen multiple camera quality reviews and they say pixel the best out thr.

25. I love the new blue color instead of that ugly green they used to have. And I hope that all android 7.1 devices get the slightly redesigned toggles menu! (And the blue accents :P)

38. I wonder who won the Number 1 Smartphone of 2016 by TechRadar. Certainly it's the Galaxy S7 Edge or the Google Pixel. These two phones are a clash of titans right now. I'm sorry Apple. This year is not your best. Although, Google Pixel is ahead in terms of speed and updates. Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is just superior. My money goes to Samsung this year for the smartphone of the year. Congratulations!
