1. Who cares about Design?
   Most of us put nice looking covers on our phones XD.

3. I've seen people claiming gs5 build is bad and touch wiz is laggy. I've been using s5 for about 3 months. I can say phone feels really solid in the hand. I don't think smartphones must be made of metal instead of polycarbonate with sacrifices the functionality (removable battery, waterproofing) for the sake of looks. You'll be using a cover to protect that shiny aluminium body anyway. As for the lagging I can honestly say I found none at all with heavy usage during this period. And as far as I phones go I don't want to waste a fortune over a phone with 2012 specs + #bendgate

4. Samsung doesn't care about the design since their income is generated elsewhere and they simply don't care how badly it's design as long as people are buying it thanks to their marketing.

7. Everyone hates plastic covers i like them cause it means a remobable battery and i jist feel like its better.

8. Im sorry but as long as a phone had a SD card idc about looks. 32 gb or 64 gb is simply not enough when apps are becoming upwards to 5 gb of space I mean I have 1729 songs that would destroy the space on a non sd card having phone

10. I'm actually loving the dimpled back plate. It gives me a good amount of confidence that I'm not going to drop it. Even with just two fingers supporting the back. That's something no previous phone I've owned has done for me. Even just considering looks, It's pretty decent, not something that bothers me in the slightest.

12. I still am waiting for the note 4 , I have high hopes for the note 4 (I hope Samsung doesn't ruin the note 4s design)

13. I see why your top 10 phones of 2014 spring was so bad. 

    These are phones. They are not a purse. Who cares if it is shiny and matches your earrings. Samsung is plastic and that is good. It doesn't break when you drop it. Who ever thinks that metal is a better design should go with the iphone or htc one. You obviously have more money than cares. If you want a good phone that will last, the plastic is much better.

18. I totally agree. I'm already getting fed up with the regular design, expected something better. Have been admiring HTC for their design though I still appreciate my Note.

24. Although the samsung galaxy s5 back cover may be ugly, it offers 1 of the best in hand feel I've gotten from any smartphone so far..

26. It gets a negative point for having an extra feature? A completely benign feature? I completely agree that they fumbled the design, but I can't help but feel like most of the tech world is simply becoming anti-Samsung.

32. Super disappointed with this phones design. Isn't this meant to be a flagship device? So why is it that a phone that's over $1K(NZD) have the same materials as a $150(NZD) phone. Touch Wiz looks a little better but icons still look ugly as fuck. Samsung making a metal phone is like iPhone running android it will never happen.

34. Htc m8, s5 and z2 are all evolution, I WANT INNOVATION, htc is the most innovative I'd say, but give it a fingerprint scanner, innovation is the best thing on a phone!

35. Given the huge number of features of this device, it's hard to understand the 4-star rating. Certainly it deserves at least 4.5 in this category as there are few handsets that boast a more complete feature set. 

36. Im just very confused as to how the most powerful phone on the market with most outstanding processor be slower than the iphone5s, it was released months after the 5s release and yet was slower than it :s

37. They lost me last year cause the design so i went for the iphone 5s. I was waiting for the s5 but then it came out and so did the htc m8 with that big black border I never liked so ima just wait for the bigger iphone 6 if it comes out.

38. Samsung are just cruising at the minite, they need to step there game up. If they dont innovate people will go to other manufacturers
