17. Hi Lark, I don’t know about the next few days, but I think we will certainly see an ETF approved before the end of October.

    I agree that this will spark a rally for bitcoin and I suspect if there is a sell the news event that will happen on the launch date.

    Of course the irritating thing about this futures ETF (and you can correct me if I’m wrong) is that they won’t consume actual bitcoin just paper backed “ideas”.

21. )These ridicules bitcoin price predictions will never materialize. It won’t even get to $100k and if it does it will not remain there for long just like when it was 60k, if it could get to 500k then it mean very large amount of investors must have lost huge amounts of their money for bitcoin to get that high. That is why the price will continue to fluctuate around the 20's to 60's range buying at anything higher is too risky, someone buying a coin for 500k will never happen; selling coins at that price will kill bitcoin in an hour. Take gold it could have gone much higher but it did not, millions bought gold knowing it can never go to 100k. Bitcoin is not attached to anything like gold it’s just attached to the next investors’ money.

Eric Balchunas had this to say on when a Bitcoin Futures ETF would likely start trading after approval: “In short, it would launch VERY SOON, like a couple of days, after approval (e.g. if approved Oct 19th, likely launch Oct 21st)”. Which may have a bearing on your buy the rumour sell the news theory. The impact may actually be similar to how the recent EIP-1559 launch played out. Fingers crossed 🤞
