The performance – mode should be replaced with a fidelity – option. Raytraced global illumination, better textures, even if this will cut the framerate in half. But it would be a better alternative than this now senseless bc-mode on PS5.

Interestingly, at 3:18 the PS4 has better cloth physics, namely on the pants. The PS5 should not have his effect dialed down.

I've been complaining about wanting 4k 60fps on the PS5! Thank the PS gods we got a game that actually does this! Ray tracing is nice on other games but give me 4k 60. Or 4k 120….

I could have upgraded for $30 on the PS5 since I own it for PS4 Pro, but similar to what I did for 4A Games with Metro Exodus & paid the full price to support the devs & have the physical copy.

Great stuff, Michael. Having a blast playing it again. The visuals are a definite step up in resolution mode to be sure but what really makes it for me is the brilliant DualSense implementation and fantastic new 3D audio support. Can’t wait to get to Iki island…

Never had a Pro but I have a PS5. I played it on a base PS4 so I can't wait until I get to see the differences for myself.
Before I got a PS5 I thought haptic feedback would be a gimmick, I was wrong. It adds additional immersion making it wholly worthwhile.
Good that you mentioned dualsense upgrades but why skip on the instant loading speeds and instant fast travel plus the activity cards which just takes 6secs from ps home screen
PS5 continues to be great, hopefully everyone interested can get theirs soon!
This game is a masterpiece.
My only playthrough was on the PS5 spoiled problems I know but I can't imagine it looking much better It looked amazing, I'm looking forward to the expansion though
