Imagine whining about detective parts of a largely detective game
Drinking game: take a shot everytime the word "tedious", "tedium" or any variation of the word is used. You'll be plastered halfway through.
Maybe you have to read lovecraft first, snoby reviwer.
Reminds me of the movie – Daegon
I'll wait for no. 2
It's a POS game
This game is the new "Silent hill"
8.5/10
Thanks was about to buy the games
Vietnamese guy that sounds like a white boy
It wasn't a game for you vato. Go play COD
Overall it makes you feel like a cult member
Dudes got no actual depth of knowledge in lovecraftian lore. It’s like he had a friend saying “oh yeah say there are quotes and homages to the story” but then he contradicts his fake knowledge by saying “no boss, NPCs are unaware of monsters around them, etc.” dude, that’s lovecraft 101. They are unaware bc they lack the intellect to see the deeper spiritual dangers around them. The protagonist is smart enough to see it and be aware and it’s about getting out alive, not defeating a boss. Get out with sanity and that’s all humanity can do.
I wasnt aware of this game until the ps5 announcement.
Nothing can matches the magical core of Bloodborne!!!??
Helpful! Thanks!
That's an insult to Jakarta
IGN fails again at understanding games… way to drop the ball….again
Dosent show cuthulu so it is baaaad
How many times are they gonna say "Lovecraft" in this review? Gentleman, start your engines…

Vatican is the mix of Cult of the Sun (RA), Cult of Dagon, Cult of Lucifer (planet Venus, pentagram), Cult of Saturn (Satan, 666, hexagram), Brotherhood of the Snake etc.
ur dumb lol
People who like this game have no taste…
Who reviewed this game? the Verge?
I'd love to play a lovecraftian game where you get to play as one of the elder gods (preferably ctulhu) it'd be a nice change to have one of the elder gods to be given the chance to be the hero of the story for once
Too bad that BigBen stole this game from Frogwares and now this game is no longer available on Steam or anywhere else.
another 7 or 8. wow.
C'thuniverse?
This isn't Warcraft dude
Any game like Bloodborne where we fight Cthullu stuffs?
Just picked this game up at GameStop for 5 bucks.
10/10 it has a little something for everyone
IGN is terrible and not a reliable source anymore for gaming.
Any play the call of cthulhu which do you think is better
Anyone know that song in the very beginning? Sounds very familar but a snow globe version…@0:29
Glad I just played bloodborne instead
Bought this for 15 bucks because it looked similar to Vampyr in terms of mechanics etc.
Hey IGN maybe this game is not about to put you in a sequel or something like remake or something like prequel this more like bring something different like, you know tha all open world now, big brains are trying to bring something different, like the ending should not be the same but different and and cliffhanger sort of type till they do another sequel or prequel or much better different story and different world but with same but much better mechanics. You Know….
2:09 "It's especially noticeable that all of the black men you actually have conversations with have the same cartoonish face."
WOW! That's very Lovecraftian!
