Hello basil, I finally found you yay. Subsided to the channel only because of you. Really missed you at Btekt and I still miss that format but at least you still carry your own style. Hope you'd bring back some of the stuff. That particular pattern of testing made it very easy to make cross comparison between devices even if they weren't pit together like say the speaker performance etc. Keep it up, cheers ??.
The phone is killed by low ram and storage I expect 6gb 128 or 256 atleast if I am paying premium. I was forced to switch to note 8 from z5 for the same reason only

I will not be buying sony anymore for luck of headphone jack. People have choice and preferences and leaving wired head phones does not cause any harm as the phone integrates bluetooth techlology too. PLUS sony has failed to adress recurrent problems of overheating with all its phones. This is worse when you use the camera for along time.

no headphone jack and buttons on the side.. no thanks. I don't enjoy dropping a phone call in the middle of conversation on a cold day out and even accidently shutting it down. At least my current Sony have a headphone jack. The oled screen it not something i prefer either because it reduces the lifespan on the display, even though the image feels more crisp and in depth.

I wish reviews would tell you if you can put themes like the other sony phones. Or if you can remote play the ps4 like the xz2 premium.
I was and I am still a Sony fan I have Sony products worth more than $20000 but after 4 Xperia what I want to say is don't buy any Android phone made by Sony, fuck them all. Now I'm using a Pixel 2 XL, it's way better, in everything an Android phone has to offer.

5) Downgraded resolution not even 4K.

8) 4GB of Ram like my 2016 S7 Edge.
9) No dual lens.
10) No UHD at 60fps video recording.
Now , Sony VIRGIN fanboys , please enlighten me….. in what way is this fucking phone UNDERrated?!??!?!?!?!??! Even if going by the subjective fields you wanna atribute it being a prettier design (which it isn't) and having a prettier UI than other non-pure androids (which might be true) , with all of those negatives and at such a high price it's actually surprising that it's gotten so much hype , talks a lot about the sony fanbase which probably comes from the playstation brand.
One of the coolest Sony Xperia flagship features used to be it's camera , it had a really good camera button , the best cutting-edge sensors on the market and probably the best manual experience….this is not the case now , what have they done….
Anyways , i'd still take this over any iPhone but to say that this is some diamond in the mud that's being outshinned by lesser phones with better marketing is just appalling , you Sony Ponies are the worst shit ever boiis , cheers.
box out the edges only showing the screen….do it to top end phones with samsung, apple, huawei etc etc….. show to average user and tell them to guess which screen quality is what phone brand/model. point is no one cares anymore about quality or even guess right, it should be given as a base standard to all phones. ive been Sony for 7 years and not once i got a compliment within my network of friends about quality..not once. and whats the point with facebook etc downscales it and people add filters? …just saying

I personally think this is the best looking smartphone.
I pre-ordered this phone and the only thing I can't appreciate is that only Taiwan version gets the 6 Gb RAM version. 4 Gb is not enough for a 2018 phone.
OLED is really a very very bad decision. IPS was the feature I respected Sony. XZ 2 Premium is still the best Sony phone.

Very few buys Sonys mobile phones for good reasons. The competitors are just better. Sony is nowadays a irrelevant manufacturer in the mobile business. Sales have been declining for several years and Sony Mobile will continue to shut down its operations around the world.
His hand makes the phone look so small.
