  1. We actually used to take our console to a friend's house, hook up two TVs and play two light-gun games at the same time with the one gun. Be fun to do that again.

  2. Growing up playing "Duck Hunt" when it was a new game was super crazy as a kid but I never expected to see technology development so fast. Duck Hunt is literally nothing now. Where has the time gone ?

  3. Hogans Alley was my favorite zapper game on the NES! TV: Airwolf, A-Team, Muppet Show. Movies: Back to the Future, Willow, and Ghost Busters. Loved your skateboard on the bookshelf!

  4. Segaaaaa. I preferred Die Hard 2 on the PS1, I had this high quality bright green super accurate light gun that cost me half a weeks wage, good times. Imagine playing those games on a cinema sized screen ?

  5. house of the dead was my favorite in arcades and i had it later for dreamcast. oh god that terrible voice acting is so nostalgic. they need an arcade mode with a bunch of voiced NPC's watching you play in an arcade for the real experience. make them mock you when you're doing bad, and cheer you on when you're doing well. and some of them are trying to get you to finish faster so they can get their turn. all while you try to look as cool as possible while playing. then you've got the real 90's arcade experience, lol.

this is amazing, i gotta get in on this. it reminds me of the sega classics program on steam, if you buy any of hte sega classic genesis games, you get a similar program, where its a retro bedroom in VR and you can load up all the games in VR on a CRT TV and play them, it's really cool, and totally free. and you can get the games themselves for like a buck each in bundles now and then.

  6. Mamut made amazing grips for the CV1, but they haven't changed their grips to fit the Rift S properly. It's annoying seeing a product being wrongfully promoted for the device they aren't made for. The change is slight, but just enough to make them uncomfortable compared to when they are on the proper controller. Please Mike if you have a good relation with this company, could you address a redesign to fit the Rift S properly. They where my favorite grips until my CV1 died. I refuse to put them on the wrong controller for my new headset.

  7. Did you ever look at New Retro Arcade: Neon ? Once you have it setup, it's probably the coolest experience you can have in VR, reminds me EXACTLY of going to the arcade in the 80s. I can't recommend this thing enough, it's just a bit of a pain to setup the first time – but if you know where to look you can find images already created with all the artwork and roms – and then it's a snap. But still there is a lot of enjoyment in setting up your own arcade as well.

  8. I just picked up a 35" free TV just to play time crisis 2 and duck hunt. The real gun controllers are irreplaceable. You can even use a steering wheel pedal to fulfill the game crisis arcade experience
