Why does this review seem to suggest that a battle pass is a feature and not a method of monetising the game.

When overwatch meets fortnite…
this review is terrible! no RNG=bad?… playing as director makes you just want to be playing? are you dumb?…. ONE MAP??? theres literally 7 tiles (i think 10 total) and they are always in a random spot in a random orientation… this guy played for 3 hours and made a review

I’m surprised at how terrible this review was. Wow.
So some of the main complaints are that it is not random enough and you cannot buy a battle pass? Count me in, sounds like the best recommendation!
Aaaaaand great. I love this game to death, but it has such a small playerbase, and just a few negative reviews from people like ign who have zero clue about games could practically kill this game’s growth. Post launch is already losing players, and ign could make it worse for people who only listen to reviews from journalists

For any of you that see this don't listen to ign they play a game for 2 hours then call it trash I have been playing this game since it first came out. With 200+ hours I can safely say this game is worth your time

I reeeeeeally like this game. It's so fun. A little detail is the missing of maybe a battle pass or difficult missions, but this does not kill my opinion for this game

Imagine thinking minimal RNG is a bad thing. Chests and deer still have RNG :). This review didn't even talk about a lot of the cool aspects of the game either, its like they didn't even play or do research for what the game has to offer. There is so much more to it and a rushed review like this hurts the game in a lot of ways.
In short – dont listen to this review, The Darwin Project is 100% worth playing and doesnt get less fun quickly, every fight is different and keeps you coming back for more

This game is so fire I've been grinding recently. Also the game kinda underrated
“The fights feel the same” that applies to any other Battle Royale game ever.
EA will put 12 battle passes in their next game to get a perfect 10 from IGN then

So this game is 1 of 2 battle royals I actually enjoy. One of those being apex legends and that's because I enjoy the mobility and characters. In Darwin project I highly enjoy the combat and tracking systems and the director makes it even funner with some games being hilarious as directors force rivalries ect. My only problem with the game being lack of classes and duos/squads ect
