Lol puts out the review after the vid with the director
Most western horror film directors cant do horror, all they can do are cheap jumpscare.
just watched the grudge ?? the cats movie is scarier
Just as i expected.
This Grudge movie takes place during and after the 2004 film.
Well…. that’s disappointing
The movie was okay :/
this movie was absolutely horseshit
Check out my review on my channel to see if I'm telling the truth ?and please like and sub if you liked it ?♂️
This was literally one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen. I was so excited too.
You can try as hard as you can, but P.T., a simple playable teaser with only one visible character and a looping corridor, is still way more terrifying than any recent horror movie. Isn't that shameful…?
Damn ign..ripped it apart lol
I really loved it old rating system ☹️
Already knew it was gonna be bad. Don’t remake horror movies they only get ruined
I’ll wait for this to come to digital, rental at best
Thank you
This was trash ok…. but the original grudge literally took my life away as a child ??
20 years of blah, just stick with the original.
If you are going to watch it because you liked the Japanese one then don't go…if you want the American reboot then don't go…so basically save your money…the movie is bad with a capital "BAD"
I feel like im the only person on earth who actually like horror films with jump scares…
Oh well…
Lin shaye was in damn near every scary movie 2010-2020
Can these IGN reviews stop explaining the plot every time they review something?
Definitely seeing this movie, critics make me wanna see it more. Critics said the same Thing about It Chapter 2 and it’s pure exaggeration. As long as it’s creepy idc.
easily one of the worst movies in a while
4.0/10 – "Just watch the original Japanese version"
Looks like absolute S__T
you should have said Spoilers I mean damn man
Saw it yesterday, it was ok.
Some jumped, but I'm imune to horror movies since long.
Just watched it… horrible don’t waste you’re time and money. You have been warned lol
So is it worth watching the movie?
Just wait for the re-reboot in 2025
I really liked this movie, it’s probably one of my favourite Ju-On movies. People are just being to harsh :/
My review: Don't waste money in this movie. The original Ju-On at least had some originality. Maybe it doesn't hold up to today's standards but at the time it was spooky and had a bunch of great creepy elements. This reboot is a generic American horror movie with barely any ties to the original.
Can someone pls jst applaud once that actually hollywood can imitate j-horror vibes in 2019
Dear IGN
Can u please tell me when the jump scare is in these reviews, I was lying in my bed it’s 12 at night, falling asleep and at 1:23 in the video a jump scare happened, I screamed and I’m pretty sure a bit of poo came out of my bottom.
From Sean Heaney
I did not enjoy it very much. Felt like a horror movie that was anything but the grudge. I miss the grudge actor from 2004 :/
4 = Demian Bichir ???
I'm so sad now…..I was planning on going to see this film and now I can actually save my money.
Wtf we keep bad scripts and I haven't been to the movies for months.
Let's just hope sonic the hedgehog is not ruined.
first bad film in the new year
I think ign likes making negative reviews lol
It's not a 4 guys, it's a 40. XD
I felt similarly about the first Saw. Characters are introduced either chained up in a basement or as dead bodies, then every other scene is a flashback to how they ended up either in that basement or dead. But it all feels pointless when you already know the outcome of the scene you’re watching. I was always surprised at the praise Saw received and I’m even more surprised when people have such negative things to say about the new Grudge, though they seem to have the same storytelling framework.
