1. the last jedi screwed the trilogy up. This one did the best with what was left over. Only issue I have with episode 9 is that it leaves darth vader's redemption and the prophecy as useless. I guess they had to with the whole kill snoke with no back story last jedi rubbish.

5. The main thing episode 9 does, is make the last Jedi look A LOT better……

6. The Last Jedi convoluted the whole trilogy leaving an impossible task to fix anything. Two directors were giving each other the middle finger

13. Why couldn’t they just finish characters story arc , like wouldn’t be so cool to see these people at the end of story

15. Why do I feel like the other 2 guys really didn’t like the rise of sky walker but said that they did , the guy with the glasses is the only real one and is being honest

16. Answer to the title question: Yes it does, as it should.

17. Because TFA & TLJ failed in continuing the story from the OG, I went in with no expectations from ROS and came out lukewarm. Not giving them a pass but when you botch it from the start with no real plan, what can you expect?
    I just hope Disney get their act together and deliver a Star Wars saga that respects the lore and gives us a new story that have actual interesting characters and don't use comedy in place of proper dialogue

19. Every “wow” moment in this film was very underwhelming. Very predictable no really powerful moments and that thanos vs tony stark ending was blatant

20. The mythology of Star Wars has been destroyed by Di$ney sequels. The mythology is what made Star Wars special and able to be around for 40+ years. The space battles, the lightsabers, the planets, the droids, etc.. were just icing on the cake. If you love the movie that's fine, but hopefully you can see why others don't. May the Force be with you…:-)

24. Christ the guy in the middle is angry and miserable. Cheer up and calm down!

25. If by "correct" you mean pander to the whiniest of TLJ haters, then yes.

26. Whether you like it or not, TLJ made daring creative decisions and tried to push Star Wars in a new direction for the future. TROS relied too heavily on predictable fan service, cringey retconing, and made it clear it was afraid of its own fan base.
