Kinda bland really
Besides the game being blurry, it’s great to see they finally added some ambient music. Problem is, it still doesn’t sound right.
maybe get some gameplay of someone who actually looks like they know what they're doing and can aim a damn gun I mean cmon..

Whole game looks like a mod
The gunplay looks awful, the enemies repetitive and the NPC dialogue shallow. I was hoping Obsidian would make an incredible Fallout clone, but it seems they've made Borderland/rage.
Looks like they didn't listen to fan feedback by adding ambient noise and chit chats and making the soundtrack play more.
This game looks so bland and dull. Whats up with the shitty No Mans Sky graphics, too? After watching this for 10 minutes I felt like throwing up.

Can't believe I'm saying this but it looks like even Fallout 4 has better combat than this. Sounds blasphemous, but companions at least took cover and didn't walk slowly in a straight line towards the enemy. Come on, Obsidian, what is this? I KNOW you can do better.

Boring fkn geckos
I feel like people don't seem to comprehend that this is an RPG. The focus is on the world, characters, and factions and sucking you into that world. If you're simply judging the game based off the shooting and visuals you are entirely missing what the focus of an RPG is… Could it be better on those aspects? Sure, but this is a AA title with a lower budget you're not having hundreds of people working on the game like you would a Bethesda title or Cyberpunk, it's essentially an indie game. If you want the more WOW factor maybe that'll happen with the sequel since that'll be under Microsoft, until then at least judge the game on other merits other than the shallowest of criticisms.
Rage 2 was a massive disappointment. I hope OuterWorlds doesnt disappoint me. I'm actually excited for this game.
This is the most boring gunplay I have ever seen in a game. The setting is fantastical planets in space but the set design lacks any sense of imagination. I'll wait for the reviews to come out and see what everyone thinks….but it's looking like a hard pass to me rn.

This game looks like it could use a significant amount of polish. Not saying the game itself will be terrible, but it releases in literally a month; it looks like it should still be over a year from release.

So let me get this straight people have been begging for obsidian to make a new fallout game. They basically make another fallout game and people are complaining about gameplay when it's the same as NV?
As someone that actually enjoyed Fallout 4 despite its shortcomings, I'm insanely optimistic for this. Art style is great (imo) and what little I've seen of the rpg/story elements seem solid. As long as they get the difficulty right I can't see why this wouldn't turn out to at least be worth a look (if you like the genre).
