4. Here''s my take: They are waging a war on the average investor thru regulatory oversight. By tracking and subpoenas thru apple, google,..they intend to take the little bitcoin from the average early investor and transfer it to fully accredited via draconian laws for the public to believe is for their own safety and protection. If Munchkin can say outright that the dollar is Not used in illicit activities…his imagination knows no bounds. Be safe and prepared.

The institutions coming in will certainly help the crypto space because what they are doing is make crypto available to those who otherwise would have too much trouble in investing in crypto on their own. For those already holding crypto it will make the prices higher and so they will benefit from that. The bad thing about it is it will be more costly for the investors doing it through the institutions. Nevertheless not having to watch the market and not having to worry about getting one's crypto stolen will be a big plus for them.

6. People are saying that the big players in control of all the financial systems do not want that little guy getting rich.. but I don't think they have a choice.. if you buy bitcoin early then you will get rich despite what they want.

7. Jan 2017 we were at 20k. The CME started and it went to 3 k. Everybody gets excited by institutional development but they don't fully understand the asset yet. Then in six months they start, This time is different as the foreign markets are bubbling. The face book thing and comments from our financial leaders is causing new people, especially big money people to become aware of Bit Coin and its limited supply. They will undervalue it at first and then you will see major moves. Huge swings and volatility. Hold tight and Hold Hold hold. Buy big dips and cautiously sell rallies. Don't forget… They will be settling in bit coin.

   We are going back to a global gold standard. There is not enough gold. Bitcoin will merge in and the surpass. We will have to get used to switching our view of money from 1.00 to .001.

8. The danger of the big guys getting into bitcoin while the little guys are regulated out is that the volatility may disappear, and with it the chance for the 4-yearly moon event for crypto prices. The institutions use real-time analysis and their systems buy and sell accordingly. They look to make money from frequent smaller price-deltas rather than hodl for larger deltas like we do.

9. It doesn’t matter in the long term what the institutions do. As it becomes more and more apparent that Bitcoin is backed by more than the dollar and that there is a huge difference in supply, the dollar will devalue against BTC.

   When the president pushed dollars over crypto he was just doing his job. If I were in his place, I would do the same to promote stability and keep the economy from crashing (even though I think the dollar will have to eventually fail) -as far as I’m concerned, the drop in BTC price is merely a reflection of the dollar strengthening temporarily on the power of the bully pulpit.

10. Regulating bitcoin is like hiring a bureaucrat to look over your calculator make sure it’s correct.
    It is true the big boys are getting in. But the little guys can get in also and provide a service and a D centralized system. The ways to make money are far different than the old ways. When crypto takes off they’ll be plenty opportunities for the little guy to find their niche. The big boys have no creativity they only have force. And that’s the only thing governments are good at force.

11. The government does not care about scam assets, they are only intersted in valuable assets which BTC is. The government want their cut from this asset; they will get partial control of it through the likes of bakkt, fidelity etc because they not only want control but they see huge potential; and understand that there are things they dont understand so don't want to miss out. Therefore their regulation will be measured. They can't stop the ordinary person owning it so i dont think they will regulate them to much. They will get your BTC through FUD, IF YOU FALL FOR IT. Plus they will need you when they trade and make money. All in we know, read big compamies then read government. I wouldnt be surprised if they are involved in tether and other ways to buy BTC. But at the end of the day big companies need you and me and other fools across the world to be involved in crypto to make money so i dont think the regulations will be hard on the normal person. especially if theyre letting in the big players to trade
    Hodl some BTC and trade some if you have the expertise.

12. If you own crypto don't let go, hold it for dear life. The institutions getting involved is a good and bad thing. Good, they will push the price up to the skys. Bad, they will regulate the shit out of it until only accredited investors are allowed to play, shutting out all retail investors

    Now, when the system is getting closer to takle the crypto world, it can easily indicate the new projects that are about to be born to fix the system again.
    Remember, crypto is the one leading the system.

I think in order for crypto to really get to the next step and truly keep growing and push for mass adoption we need institutions to be in the game and regulations to make the masses feel safe to buy. Yes, the rich will get richer but thats always the case. 20. When the big financial firms see there there is just an inkling of the little guy getting ahead, they have to do anything to curb if not stop it. Bitcoin cannot be stopped, so the next best thing is to try to pretty much corner the market as usual, and this might work for the short term – but there are always alt-coins and years from now perhaps when bitcoin is so tainted by the big guys, we can just move to other coins. Perhaps litecoin and ethereum will be the next big coin after bitcoins heyday, who knows.

21. Once the US realizes that they have stifled growth, innovation, and driven most of the US crypto based entrepreneurs to other countries it will be too late. It’s like the thought of a hash war has never crossed their minds. And all of this loss is over greed to force US citizens to use ‘the approved’ on ramps and trading platforms. It makes me sad and forces me to HODL even more BTC because the US will have less exposure to Alt coins (as you said) – Love the channel, thanks for listening!

Douglas here…As a somewhat newby in cryptos, let me give you my Macro view of bitcoin w/o too much info to get in the way…The very nature of bitcoin is decentralized and the only way the big boys can control this is to buy bitcoin which will raise the price exponentially. So those in now with any amount of btc will prosper because the price of bitcoin was designed to sky rocket. The only play they have is to raise the price of btc beyond reach of the public which benefits the early investors. Trading btc (may?) no longer be profitable because the price will stabilize at maybe 100k or more…Peace!
