But really tho, the REAL gamechanger from this VR stuff is gonna be Telepresence. These people in retirement homes will be out there in the world living their real lives, seeing the real sights in real-time, interacting with friends anywhere in the world, all through robotic bodies streaming back to the retirement home.
There'll be no reason to passively consume pre-recorded VR movies like in this video, when you can be there watching the stream in real-time, completely interactive, controlling real robotic arms, moving around on real robotic legs or wheels, it'll be the real world.
