Banjo is one of those weird franchises everyone gets excited about despite the fact that it only has 2 main line games and one shitty spinoff, and the last mainline game came out almost 2 decades ago. The franchise is effectively dead and hasn't had a chance to bring in new fans in a loooong time. As someone who never owned an N64 I really couldn't care less about banjo in smash but I am happy for those fans. I actually am kind of excited about Hero though since I have played DQ11.

Quite possibly the best E3 ever. The only thing that could've made it better if is Reggie made a surprise appearance to announce BotW2.

This E3 was dead dry! Without Sony been @ E3 you might have called it a snore fest E3! Square Enix had the show and only because FF7

People overhyping it in my opinion, they didn’t really show it bc every thing they showed we kinda already knew about except botw2
Couple of extra characters for a fighting game. Hi res port of a gameboy game. few ports of mediocre ps3 games. Delayed game that a indie team could make in a year or two and a cinematic of a game we can expect in four years time. I love nintendo but this was grim.
Nintendo won for the first time ever. They didn’t really have much competition given that Sony didn’t show up and other conferences seemed scared to show gameplay. E3 was very dry this year. First time Nintendo E3 Direct was entertaining throughout. That AC troll caught me off guard.
I will say the last part with the sequel to Breath of the Wild was pretty sweet. Astral Chain and Daemon X Machina are some of the highlights to me.

It's probably a no brainer, but Nintendo always has the strongest presence at E3.

They won before the direct
Dragon Quest is such a big deal in Japan that new game releases are business holidays. They had problems with half the nation calling off sick from work, so they just made it a holiday.
DQ11 also sold 2m in 2 days in JUST JAPAN ALONE. To give you some perspective on how popular DQ really is.
I rather have a great game I don't care how many times it gets delayed

It was a great E3 , we got Zelda BOTW sequel x,Animal Crossing , Luigi Mansion 3, all the new Smash DLC, Astra Chains, etc etc. A bunch of quality games

Better than microsofts 60 games.. they was mostly arcade titles
I hope Bowser comes back in the next E3 direct and will announce the games using translation subtitles
