Why do we need a video game shared universe? See BACK IN MAH DAY, whenever you wanted a superhero game with a bunch of other heroes in it…you just put them in it
Spiderman is a ps4 exclusive it is never coming on other platforms ,now if there is any truth of this whole cross over thing the "special exclusive for PS4 owners ", will be the Spiderman in the PS4 game but if that's the case there is no way in hell that character will be accessible on other platforms

The guy on the left is a dumbass. Of course it’s a shared universe. If it wasn’t, they’d be throwing away so much money and the opportunity to craft a universe just like Marvel did with the movies.

Nahh the Avengers Tower are different in both games..
The MCU started with Paramount and Universal Studios distributing the movies before Disney got the rights for Avengers and Spiderman having a deal to crossover.
So maybe especially if PS4 is getting exclusive stuff maybe, but tbh Im not sure.

For a second I thought this meant they could potentially use the Manhattan map from Spider-Man PS4. Thought so because there was a Financial District NYC shot in the trailer. Also they did have the Avengers tower in Upper East Side.

If you look through the trailer there's a guy wearing a mask that is extremely similar to taskmaster, and it would make sense for him to change his costume after losing to spiderman. And yes like everyone else is saying there's exclusive stuff for ps4.

I was thinking the exact same thing…the shared universe. Maybe Spider-man is a part of the Playstation exclusive content. Of the Avengers game.
Months ago marvel games already said that they where making a shared marvel gaming universe. I don’t know why everyone is so shook. Bryan Intihar already even said months ago in an spoiler cast that Spider-Man ps4 would be the starter AKA the Ironman of the gaming universe.

Does no one remember when they announced Spider-Man PS4? THEY ANNOUNCED THAT THEY WANTED TO DO A MARVEL GAME UNIVERSE, SOMETHING ON THE SCALE OF THE MCU IN VIDEO GAME FORMAT, OVER MANY YEARS THROUGH MANY DIFFERENT PUBLISHERS ON MANY DIFFERENT PLATFORMS. SO YES THIS IS THE START OF A SHARED UNIVERSE
