New people wouldn't care if Keanu would be in it or not, but the matrix fans are going to have a hard time watching this movie….if it ever happens.
Maybe it's possible to make a new fresh start for the series…I don't know.
But in my head it makes no sense without Keanu and Lawrence.??♂️

You have to have Keanu to tie the last movie to the next. The franchise will be ruined if it doesn't have Keanu.

While I think Hollywood has gone the complete wrong direction with reboots (they should reboot movies that didn't work the first time and try to see if they would for a different generation), so I don't ever like the idea of reboots. Certain film franchises out there are sacred and should never be touched in the reboot department. The Matrix is one of them. If The Wachowskis want to make a Matrix 4, even without Keanu…then fine (though I would prefer Keanu be on board), it's not necessary but at least your're expanding on it rather than trying to ruin what already worked and is beloved by so many people.
So yeah…I'd rather see a Matrix 4. I'll never be on board for a reboot.
