Also, watching the videos, I have not seen this feature yet, but I think it will be the next substantial feature to be included: A loudspeaker on the drones—"Hey mike, can you see me, I'm up here right above your car!!"
Think about it!!
I love the idea of a camera drone. All I want to do is take videos of trains—yes, I'm a lover of trains, especially the modern diesels (why I love train—I don't exactly know why?).
That being said, I am almost certain those that harbor criminal intentions are already drooling at the mouth. And this is one reason I believe the FAA–and other aviation organizations–are somewhat alarmed/concerned.
Several reasons:
If a goose can fly into a jet engine and bring down a plane, well, I don't even need to say what a drone can do!
I saw a video not long ago where this guy had outfitted his drone with a pistol, and he made videos demonstrating the firing of the pistol from an altitude of about 50 feet! Need I say more?
Do we even need to get into the idea of some moron placing a small bomb on a drone and sending it at random anywhere, and have that device detonate wherever it lands!?
These few things—there are more than likely many more—go beyond the silly spying that people are upset with. And let's not forget the countless people who will spot a drone in the distance and swear they have seen a UFO!!
So, just saying.
The two best values in this list are the Typhoon H, DR3 and the GoPro. We've tested all of the ones listed in this video and these three give the best bang for your dollars. Speaking of best bang for your dollar; for anyone looking to take the sUAS cert exam. Below is a good app I used as a portable study guide. they took karma drone off the mkt do to issues
Karma drone right? well seems that the Karma put them to return the drones since they had some power flaws and the drone can stop working in middle air. They charged so much for that drone that they accumulate some bad Karma..
