Amanda discovers that the alien infestation has grown beyond her worst fears. Her only hope of survival is a shot in the dark. Catch up on the series here!
i love this game,amanda ripley,returns to aliens insolations 2?
Ok now give us a real sequel
Love how they use the Covenant soundtrack during this episode. I'm pretty sure it's the "Cargo Lift" when Amanda is detonating the self-destruct and cornered by a swarm of Xenomorphs.
Okay, i'll freely admit that i didn't think very highly of this to begin with, but 8:10 and onwards that was pretty cool. Well done for that!

I thought you could seen what happend to amanda after the end of the game… but Not..
I just skimmed this, and it felt too fast. The long, quiet sections in the game that this series lacks made a sudden cluster of distant clinks send a serious chill down your spine. I felt like this game taught me WHY games will always be more terrifying than movies (You are the one pushing down the hallway, and you don't have a movie director guiding your experience; YOU push yourself forward into the unknown.). This series is probably great for those that don't have the nerves to beat the game on any difficulty, let alone on "Hard" or "Nightmare" (none of my friends could play this game for more than 30 seconds).
But, if you think you can work up the courage, then try to actually play this game. Start with the DLC levels "Crew Expendable" and "Last Survivor." They are the true tutorial levels, imo, and you will enjoy the campaign much much more if you learn how to avoid the Alien on these two easier levels. Not to mention, it is much easier to learn how to handle the Alien when you have a flamethrower to allow you to make mistakes; and, if you don't play these DLC levels first, then you have to play hours before you gain access to this game-making and absolutely-necessary-early-on "crutch" or a tool.
This is one of my top 5 games this gen. I cannot believe a studio famous for RTS's made it. Bravo, and thank you Creative Assembly.
This was sad! Huge portions of the story have been blended with others or completely omitted! There are ZERO new story details and some elements are completely wrong. The biggest problem is the newly created character models. The actual in game models have a beautiful shine to them but the new models are flat and dry looking. This is a waste of time for anyone who has played this game, I give it a 6/10! The fans deserve better than this! GIVE US A REAL SEQUEL TO A BEAUTIFUL GAME!!!
alien machinima, calling it a digital series seems a bit too much
I’m disappointed by the hive scene, watching other YouTubers playthroughs the hive level was longer and full of facehuggers. You would think that they could have, from the audience perspective, put in a Queen cameo. Just a small hint of her and not a full reveal. They didn’t even show the subway scene where Ripley almost gets hit by the train or that she had to traverse through a disintegrating space station to get to the spaceship, completely glossed over.
A compilation of all these episodes amounts to 70 minutes whereas all ALIEN movies have been at least 2 hours. ALIENS the Special Edition (the definitive edition and James Cameron’s preferred version, seriously, this is the version to watch after ALIEN theatrical version) clocks in at about 2 hours 30 minutes. So, there is no excuse for this series to be this short.
That ending with the Xenos would’ve made a great introduction to a game.
I see this series just as a excuse to tie Isolation to that Blackout mobile game.
I prefer my head canon that the alien on the Torrens was just a nightmare that Amanda had while unconscious (from the knock she took while trying to get to the ship) before the Torrens actually picked her up.
Plus it makes more sense for Amanda to have just this one encounter with the Xenomorph, in stead of building a narrative similar to what her mother would eventually end up doing.
My review for this is that even if it's Alien isolation it definitely doesn't feel like it and it cut out my bit the Xenomorph hive so I put it an ok 4/10
Technically pointless, but if it brings some hope for a proper sequel then I'm 100% in.
I feel robbed
Well, thanks to everyone who worked on this, I liked it.
I wouldn't even give this series a 5.7/10 it'd be an extremely generous 2/10
Ok I hope this is just a concept of the animated series
Anddd wtf no announcement at the end, what's the point then, there must be something else soon!
I liked it. It was nice to revisit this story, and for a no-budget project, was nice. Hope to see more of Amanda soon.
okay it filled in some blanks here and there, it COULD be a hint for a second game though? maybe? i mean they can’t keep giving us that huge cliffhanger ending wtf
I’ve never felt the need to know why something was created more than this. Adds nothing and was seemingly made with minimal effort.
I think this is to hype up the sequel?
I hope this is the sign that the real sequel of Isolation is in development
I can't wait to see what "Mr h reviews" thinks of this lol, If you don't know who he is, check him out! Will be worth it
I'm not sure what i should think about that.
Thanks for wasting my time!
Even for fan-made machinima, this "Digital Series" is pretty badly done. Whats the point of all this?
where is the turd emote on here
It’s free + still better than Covenant. I’ll take it.
I know SEGA lost money on the game but I’m still hoping for a sequel.
What a total disappointment. I don't even understand why the new scenes with Amanda in space are the only half-decently animated ones and everything else looks so atrocious, shitty lip-syncing and green screen alike.
This is so disappointing, when they said it was an animated series I thought it'd be at least more than just in game engine footage…
The honestly was a pointless exercise if you can call it that.
I thought that at the end will be a preview of the second part … I was so disappointed
