   For the record: 8ch is a platform that allows users to create image boards with their own mods. Some users on that site abused its openness to do illegal stuff. Imagine blaming the entire internet because there are some illegal sites on it; that's how ridiculous these people are being. Is 8ch an awful and dead platform? Yes, but it's not an evil scary boogieman.

I’ve never heard of this 8chan before but from what I can make out from the comments on here and twitter, it’s definitely not the place where a responsible/respectable company goes to do a press thing. Why didn’t they just do it on twitter, Reddit, YouTube live, hell even Instagram live?? Major screw up from the company I least expected
