The only thing foldable I want in my pocket is a wallet
2018: smaller notch race
2020: smaller bend area race
I’m calling it… foldable tablets where it can take the shape of a laptop (bottom half touch keyboard) and top half screen then unfold back to a full screen.. that would be dope
You need a noise gate in your audio chain. The white noise in the back ground is annoying
iPhone 6+ doesn't count
I can see foldable tablets as a thing, like imagine putting an Ipad in your pocket but phones? Nah, feels unnecessary.
Wheres the "Apple did a foldable iPhone already, the iPhone 6 haha" comment?
Just a gimmick
HAHAHHAHAHAHAHHA HE SAID IN THE DISCRIPTION: "IPHONE 6S+ DOESNT COUNT" HAHAHHAHAHAHHAHHA WHAT A SAVAGE HAHAHAHHHAHHAHA
When people now start copying flip phones…
Why 2019
Just came from Mrwhostheboss's video.
I don't know, the samsung one looked like it had a flat fold, maybe it wasn't and that's why the lighting was so dark, but it looked like a pretty good fold unlike the flex pai or xiaomi.
I just don’t understand why folding your smartphone is useful….personally I’d rather carry a separate smart phone and tablet
Bendable iPads are ready already)
I don't understand this question that why do we need foldable phones. No one has ever seen just one episode of Westworld? Why wouldn't we want that kind of phones that are just regular sized when folded but if we want, we could fold out a 20 inch display? All of this packed with faster and faster hardware. Right now, we are at the point where we don't really need entry level laptops anymore because tablets can do the same work.
I'm still waiting for the phone to come in a normal pair of glasses. kinda of what Google Glass was doing. Or the Intel one The Verge covered but cancelled. Really what I want is a Focus like in Horizon Zero Dawn.
I want a foldable iPhone so bad! iPhone and iPad mini in one device, perfect for content consumption.
What was the song played in the beginning
Why do we need half of this stuff totally impractical in the real world
his opinion on this seems very… FLEXIBLE
Can we skip folding phones and go straight to AR interfaces in our fuckin eyes/glasses?
i fly drones, it would be good to be able to fold out the phone to a tablet sized so i can view the feed, saves having multiple devices
Just have two separate bezel-less screen and have a really small hinge. It'll look way better and be cheaper.
I guess foldable phones will have two main benefits over normal phones: 1- The camera will be a single cutting-edge module. 2- When the phone is folded it should be a bezel-less phone (if Xiaomi for example developed their prototype more). Can't wait to see it on the market.
Just use a flip phone or the sliding phones we had in like 2007
casemaking is fucked lmao
10 more years… it will perfect but not now ?
Foldable I believe makes a lot more sense on a tablet/laptop. Having a laptop that has a screen that folds has a lot of potential since for years companies.are trying to find that sweet spot for marrying the laptop with a tablet.
3. Using main camera as selfie camera by folding. Can kill the notch/hole idea. And there is a phone who already got this far.
We need snap bracelet phones.
I am more hyped for The Last Word
This is maybe the second time he didn't use an exclamation mark in the title
Not an original idea but a phone that is flexible enough to wear on a wrist, be a handheld phone, then fold out into a tablet? Far off though.
I would be stoked for a phone like the razr. I can't stand cases on my phone and being able to fold it so the screen was protected on the inside would be?
Samsung should make it where you can fold the device open and use it with Samsung Dex.
kind of fascinating and useless…
