I'd actually love to have this for fitness…I'd love to go on a jog through virtual worlds…or race other sprinters on a track, or run my way out of a big city that just got attacked by zombies or an air raid…it would be seriously cool!
Pre-orders only $700? The thing costs 3.4k now with laughably small shoe sizes. Also ive tried the Omni (basically works the same way) and it was very awkward to use, like running up a lubed up ice-hill, very unnatural
I want one
What if youre climbing up a stairs?

perfect treadmill would be the one where u could do a backflip
This and battlefield
No extra kids, I need that spare room for my VR setup
We need this for Madden football!!!
I don't understand all these frames to hold you… Sooooooo shit.
A huge motor controlled ball (about 12 feet circumference) is the answer. Why has no one done it? Obviously residential installments are out of the question unless you bury it, but commercial installs in a warehouse would be easy.
This is the only way to give a true infinite and unhindered game field.
If you want to get really technical you could make the ball bigger still but made up of a bunch of actuator controlled rods over the surface so you can create real obstacles that you can climb over.
I don't mean the ball where you are inside either…. In this ball you are on top on the outside.
Wouldnt it be cheaper and more fun to just buy a paintball gun and play in real life?
Just use a big greased-up wok.
Yeah…. no. I could make something better than this for cheaper.
It doesn't seem like I would feel the illusion that I am covering ground when walking or running on it; more so just sliding my feet across a surface while remaining stationary
I wonder if this will be better or worse than the omni
Question is, are you bad at video editing, or is there really like 1 second latency on the movement?
Why do they call it the 360-treadmill? Because when you see it you'll turn 360 degrees and walk away
Iphone X: $999
360-Treadmill:$699
Okay.
